In our country, it is not considered impolite to arrive a little late when you are invited to a dinner party at a friend‘s house and you are supposed to take something to eat or drink. If you are invited to a birthday party, you are supposed to give a gift to the birthday person. The person who receives the present is supposed to open it.
If you are invited to a formal party, it’s considered rude to wear jeans.
When you are eating you are not supposed to make noises, burp or eat with your hands. You are expected to use the knife and the fork. It‘s rude not to eat everything you have on your plate.
You are not supposed to bow to greet people. When you meet someone for the first time, if you’re a girl you are supposed to kiss the other person; if you are a boy, you are supposed to kiss girls but shake hands with boys
