Dear all,

If you ever come to Brazil and you want to avoid being in embarrasing situations, here is some advice on what you should do.

What are you supposed to do if you’re invited to a dinner party at a friend’s house?

First of all, you aren’t supposed to arrive on time. You can arrive a little late, thirty minutes or so. You aren’t supposed to put your elbows on the table.

You aren’t supposed to make noises while eating, and you aren’t supposed to eat with your hands. Use forks and knives.

Also, you aren’t supposed to eat too fast, but you are supposed to eat everything you put on your plate. It’s also rude if you speak too loudly.

What are you supposed to do if you’re invited to a birthday party?

First, you’re supposed to give the birthday guy a gift. You’re also supposed to arrive late.

It’s rude to leave before singing “Happy birthday to you” for the birthday guy. But you can take a few extra guests with you.

You’re also supposed to say you liked the party, even if you didn’t.

What about the customs in Argentina? What are you supposed to do at a dinner party and a birthday party? We’re eager to learn about your culture!!! See you all  on the blog!!!
